(Another) Records Fair, Brighton
Another Sunday, another record fair. Total expenditure was no more than 40 pounds; I think I did remarkably well:
I discovered on first listen yesterday that the Tom Waits compilation contains his 'Way Down In The Hole' which is the theme music for HBO's The Wire - something I intend to blog about in the future.

Nice selection. Only just downloaded those two very same Lemonheads albums, having belatedly realised I only had them on dusty old cassettes. His new'un is meant to be rather good too.
Seems the kind of bloke who just sweats our gorgeous melodies.

And he's super pretty as well, some people, all the luck...
I'll have to check out the new one at some point, it got very promising reviews.

Ooh, I've always meant to listen to some of Frank Black's solo stuff, let me know (at last.fm?) of any particular tracks you recommend.
I will do just that patroclus. I've heard the odd track on compilations which lead me to believe that the album should be quite wonderful.
